Sirena Huang, an 8-year-old girl from Connecticut, shows her talent and strong commitment to violin and the music. At such a young age, she has won numerous competitions in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania, which include first place with Distinction winner in Manchester (CT) Young Artist competition, 2002 Strings International Music Festival Bach concerto competition.

Sirena was recently selected as one of fifteen "Exceptional Young Artists" worldwide for "the Starling-DeLay Symposium for violin study" at Juilliard School. Last summer she performed with the Senior Orchestra of Strings International Music Festival in the Philadelphia Orchestra's Mozart Festival, at Kimmel Center, Philadelphia, PA.

Sirena started her violin lesson at 4 ½ years old with Mrs. Linda Fiore at the Hartt School Suzuki string program. Since the age of seven, she has also studied with Brian Lewis. Sirena has been selected to perform in the Junior honor recitals each year since the age of six. She is also in the most advanced orchestra at the Hartt School Community Division. Among the music institutes that she has attended, she has been selected to perform in the master classes of Stephen Clapp, David Cerone, Teri Einfeldt, Linda Case, Kim Fisher and Pamela Frank.
