Max Tan

Max Tan is a third grade student at the Flanders Elementary School in East Lyme, Connecticut. He began his piano studies at the age of four and began his violin playing at the age of five. He currently studies piano with Dr. Paul Rutman, violin with Dr. Theodore Arm and music theory/composition with Dr. Peter Kaminsky. He passed the admission audition of the Juilliard School Pre-college division in 2001. During past years, he was a prize winner of several piano competitions in Connecticut and New York.
